• Two spring loaded seal lips opposed incorporated into one design.
• Seal for separation of two media or where liquid or viscous contaminant is present.

BH4

• Two spring loaded seal lips in tandem incorporated into one design.
• Used in extreme environments.
• Press fit metal OD for precise location in housing.

BH5

• Primary sealing lip without spring.
• Can be used as a second seal against low to medium dirt and dust ingress.
• Used where axial and radial size is restricted.
• Press fit metal OD for precise location in housing.

BH6

• 2 x sealing lip without spring.
• Good solution for grease applications.
• Used where axial and radial size is restricted.
• Press fit metal OD for precise location in housing.

Metal Parts

• Outer – inner – base washer (mild steel as standard).
• Stainless steel or brass construction is also available.

Lip Material

ALL THE SEALING LIPS IN OUR DESIGNS ARE AVAIABLE IN MANY DIFFERENT MATERIALS.

• Nitrile/NBR – Excellent for most mineral oils and greases.
• Viton / FKM – Greater temperature range then nitrile, Resistant to most of the lubricants and chemicals that attack nitriles or silicons.
• Silicone – Great for a wide temperature range. Absorbs lubricant minimising friction and wear.
• Leather – Would normally be used for oils and grease. Ideal for worn and poor shaft conditions.

Springs

• Garter spring, galvantised or stainless steel.
